Born in Switzerland, Dr. Jean-François Emeri is a recognized and innovative surgeon who uses state-of-the-art techniques in plastic and cosmetic surgery. His experience will be at your service to advise you and, if necessary, operate with ethics and professionalism.

He obtains his federal medical degree in 1986 at the University of Lausanne. He then specialized in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He is appointed Head of Clinic in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the CHUV (Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois). He complete his training in aesthetic surgery with internships in the U.S.A. (New York, Atlanta, Dallas Jacksonville and Miami).

In 1995, he joins the Centre de Chirurgie Plastique Lausanne founded in 1976 by Prof. ISAPS Rodolphe Meyer and Prof. ISAPS Ulrich Kesselring. This independent center is located into the premises of the Cecil Clinic, therefore benefiting from a technical platform and medical synergies of the highest level. In 2006 and 2007, he is president of the SSCPRE (Swiss Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery). In 2012, he is one of the founding members of the Swiss Society of Aesthetic Surgery, which he chairs in 2015 and 2016.

He has published articles in specialized medical journals, written chapters in various books on Plastic Surgery and made numerous presentations at congresses.
